I sometimes get questions about
why some of my older art pieces seem to disappear off deviantArt, why I would delete them and/or put them in storage, and if I can bring them back (and sometimes I do oblige these requests). The answer is really very simple. --I grow and change and my art and interest with me (however slowly). There's no reason why to always keep everything as it was. You change the interior of your apartment over the years--some stuff gets thrown out or packed into boxes and sent to the attic, and so on. My on-line activities shouldn't have to be much different. It's not about erasing or hiding but I can't nor want to always carry everything.. Health issues makes me spend enough time thinking about the past so why not work in the present and for the future, yes?
About
asks/invitations to submit a deviation to a group. It's an amazing compliment and, first, let me just say
thank you! In general i just click YES on most requests but I've got two very simple policies about it. --I try not to OK any group dedicated to a theme I can't agree with (seen very very few of these) or which contains rules I disagree with. --I prefer if the group
has a theme (digital art, fantasy art, sexy guys, people in jeans.. -etc). There's of course nothing wrong with groups dedicated to any and all art but my basic gallery is here under my username, and more general exhibitions I have no otherwise affiliation to only serve to confuse me. Admittedly I'm easily confused.
Keep cool and awesome, devArt!
