Alt. Title: The Shield Maiden
And it is done. Despite my mood taking a dive to sleep with the fishes today, this was ridiculously fun to work on from beginning to end. I do love drawing women even if I don't do it too often. Not to mention that this is one badass girl in particular. ♥ Lady, from Devil May Cry (Games, by CAPCOM). Textures from own making and from cgtextures.com, as usual. Inspired by lovely vintage posters and modern re-imaginations of those art styles. Smoke done by vectors. Pose is a bit boring but intended; unmoving or slightly stubbornly stiff. PhotoShop CS, Wacom tablet. Art © 2009 j.l croaky Do not re-upload to PhotoBucket and similar services. Do not copy or alter. Thank you. Commentsthis is amazing! i love the smoke! lady is indeed one bad-ass girl!
-- Yeah, she looks like she's gonna kick ass and take names right there. XD

I thought at first the lower legs were slightly disproportionate, but looking closer, I think it's actually just because of the shape of the boots. Lady likes her big, butt-kicking boots after all!
The guns are certainly a lot better than I see a lot of people do. I like how effort has been put into them, but they're not overly detailed, since they're not the main focus, it just further enhances the central figure.
All in all, it’s another awesome piece from vous! Nicely done!
