Quick Fan art sketches starring Devil May Cry's Dante & Lady.
"Really, young Miss Arkham is quite forgiven for her lapse of judgement. The frail minds of young women and all that. But it was perhaps a bit unrefined to use a shovel." Inspired by talks regarding Devil May Cry and classic literature. Namely, Jane Austen and regency(etc)-period England. How this came about I have forgotten. Same goes for when and where the shovel idea became part of it. The text in parenthesis under the first image is an actual quote right off old/original Pride & Prejudice illustrations (I just loved the choice of text; the selection looks hilarious without context). The rest is, just as the images themselves, PURE AND UTTER SILLINESS. Sketched roughly in pencil and touched up in PhotoShop. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
