Artist's Comments

Continuing on the Death Angel picture theme; here is a picture of Death and his often forgotten sibling, Taxes. Anyy time I mention Taxes while describing Death, I always recieve questions. So I saw it was time for the bugger to get some screentime. So to speak. Not that he is especially fancy to look at.

Once again, yay! for digital screentones.
Made with black linemarkers and PhotoShop.

*laughs* What an interesting idea. I really like their complimenting postures and ideas. Both immortal, both inevitable, but both so very different. Well, in personality, anyway. ^^; I really like your portrayal of death as an angel with fighting power. Those scars are always so very interesting. And Taxes is so scottfree of touch and so very pristine. Lovely little piece. I got both a giggle and a think out of it. ^^V

Death and Taxes... *groans* Oh man, please don't tell me these guys are called "The Inevitables" or something like that? LOL, nah, it's all good. They're sexy, and that makes everything better.

Your screentone work is awesome. I love your black and white pieces. :D

Haha, fantastic concept and nicely executed. Death's arm seems a little off to me, I think it's maybe too long... but that's a micronitpic. The use of tones is cool and I'm really digging the use of flat black for Taxes.

The shading is awesome, as usual

The shadows on the half-naked guy and the cloth suck a little, but the final result of it all is quite great :).
Really cool to see.

Taxes never looked so damn good before >_< The concept is fantastic and as usual, so's your art.
