jen, stealing time to let loose bottled up creativity = omgwtflol artstuffs! Here's a something of an old reprise, my own favourite white trash Angry Young Man! Lance Alvers of X-Men: Evolution, that is. Now least partial nude and with a guitar! I have never ever to my memory drawn a person actually holding/playing a guitar before, so I used heeeavy reference on this one. Man that was tricksy shit. This picture raises some questions: What is he playing, with that odd.. focused.. sad/whatever look on his face? And, more importantly, -is he naked? I dunno. I actually didn't plan that.. far. X3 Picture comes in two formats. Can't decide which one I prefer. Cut and zoomed-in version, here: [link] "Tell me what's it that moves you? Tell me what's it that grooves you? An old fashioned melody But old songs leave you dead We sell our souls for bread We're all encased in sonic armor Beltin' it out through chrome grenades Miles and miles of medusan chord The electronic sonic boom It's what's happening baby it's where it's at daddy They chain ya and brainwash ya When you least suspect it They feed ya mass media The age is electric I got the electric blues I got the electric blues" - Electric Blues, HAIR |

But your Lance is excellent. Very focused and intense. You did a great job with the posing of his body, but as a musician I'll point out that his fingers on the neck of the guitar don't look like they are doing anything, just like they are hovering. Okay, done nit-picking.
Excellent job alround!!!

And I discovered that my castles stand,

I'm not that bad. I just type that way.

Very cool! I love the guitar. And his hair. Also, the text blends really well in the picture. Most of the time, when people add some lyrics or something in their drawings, the text stands out a bit too much. But this is good: it gives some feeling to the picture, but isn't too glaring.
