Hm, to make scanned drawings less pixel-y? I suggest taking a look at your scanner settings if it's set to pure black-and-white or 'photo' (the former will cause a pixelly look as it doesn't pick up greyscale). Otherwise, I'd say don't worry about it -just make sure to scan big and then re-size to your preferred size. Make sure your settings are RGB, CMYK or similar (not Indexed colour or bitmap) under Image > Mode.
