...Sloppy fixes, bad edges and whatnot; but who cares. I kinda like it anyway. Hope you do, too. :heart:

Full title: Anger Is Just Love Disappointed

Lance Alvers, X-Men: Evolution. (yes, still fangirling this one shutup)

The original title and the text in the picture is "Barn av vår tid", an old song by Nationalteatern. A Swedish band, an old classic. It roughly translates to “Children of our time” and is a raw and angry little thing about how neglected youth turn bad. The English title “Anger is just love disappointed” is a quote from a song by The Eagles, because that's pretty much the gist of it I guess.

Sketched on paper, inked and coloured digitally in photoshop.
The background is compiled with the help of photos I've shot myself.

I really like that line of his jaw and cheeks..it's very expressive and unique, really brings out the character of his face :D The pose is interesting too, very intense while remaining pleasantly simple.

Thats a really good drawing it looks a lot like him, because when most people draw a character from something they make it look realistic looking and it doesn't look much like the character anymore.

I like the hands and arms the most...The background..iunno, it's really cool to me. Very fitting for the mood of the picture.

Awesome :nod: I really love your Lance pictures, he seems like such a strong character (cept when he's around kitty, then we all know he's a softy!) and you really portray that well. Technically, this is great - (particularly the anatomy of the arms and the hands, that's where I struggle) but it's also kinda gritty. Anyway, hope I'm not rambling nonsense XD But I do really like this.
