Realised I had yet to do a serious Sannin picture. Used my previous Jiraiya picture for inspiration and did one.
Companion piece to Jiraiya Lord.
On picture: Jiraiya (cut from the first picture, yes), Tsunade, and Orochimaru. Also known as The Legendary Three Ninja (Sannin).
Based on a pencil sketches, coloured and edited in PhotoShop.
The patterns are made, edited and mixed from free photos of real ones.
oh my. This is beautiful. I think I read someone saying they wanted a wall scroll of this... screw that. I want a bloody screen of it. A full sized room divider type screen done on ricepaper *.* That would be incredible.
Anyway, my fantasies aside.... there's something very appealing about this composition. I like it a great deal... and the fact that even though the far right image is *really* dark.... it doesn't weigh down the picture at all. Nicely done.

I use free photos of patterns, cloth etc, as well as own sources. Puzzle, edit and/or remake them in Photoshop, and apply them in the image. It most likely sounds a lot more fancy than it really is.

I love your style.

Just curious, but how do you do the patterns on their clothing?
