The Legendary Dark Knight, Sparda (Devil May Cry, Games).

Sparda is a demon that rebelled against his own kind for the sake of the human world. These actions made him a legend in the human world, gaining him the moniker 'The Legendary Dark Knight' though they also incurred a notorious reputation as the infamous traitor amongst demons. Near the end of his life, Sparda settled with a human wife, Eva, and fathered twin sons, Dante and Vergil.

The cult organization called the Order of the Sword cast Sparda as a God-figure whom once ruled over their capital, Fortuna. While it's unknown as to how/if he died, Dante understands that there is a lot of confusion surrounding Sparda and whom he truly was.

I always wanted to take a try at drawing Sparda and recently decided to go for it. Badass epic big daddy is badass epic, after all! ♥

As usual, I did a personal interpretation.

Notes.
♦ The spectre of Sparda's devil form/powers is more inspired by the concept art of DMC4 than his previously known DT. Drawing that creepy insect thing looked about as fun as... Just no, I'm sorry. >/
♦ Sparda is generally seen as clean-shaven but it is my honest belief that any self-respecting and fashionable old devil would brandish a goatee SOMETIME. As for the monocle, I wager it remains in a pocket.
♦ Sparkles?! If you contrast purple all the way into white I am afraid it turns pink along the way. Not my fault. >.>
