An icon among icons.

Ah it's good to colour things even if it takes a good while these days. For the outfit design I basically did a Google image search and stole elements of various styles, plus added the chest plate armour look and pants. The pants is not a statement--I love her usual outfit, but I also just love drawing pants. Also wanted to touch on that charming retro style--hence the big smile.

That first thing is usually how I design hero & villain costumes, too.

Cool. She looks like she could go up against Lobo. (Who is Doomsday-level tough, if you didn't know)

I hate the fact that she has pants now. And I hate that Superman's underwear on the outside is gone. The new DC redesigns really just suck in general.

I think she looks better with pants. It seems to make a statement--female empowerment almost. I think wonderwoman shouldn't always have to wear hot pants. What's wrong with some comfortable pants to beat up evil-doers with?
