Two days. A
small mountain of cardboard boxes, apartment cleaning on the clock, tired backs, fickle weather, unpacking and stupid Internet support; and here I am. Slept like a log last night hotdamn.
I could go into details but you know me either I talk a lot or just a little -and haha I am still way too tired to wrap up a detailed review. All that needs to be said is that having a pair of nice parents who don't (much) mind helping their old-enough-to-know-better (fail!) daughter is nothing short of a blessing. So is having generous and helpful friends. Couldn't have done it without you. I love you guys I don't deserve iiiit;;; ♥
All in all the move went pretty ok--as far as backbreaking and stressful experiences come--except for the stupid and exhausting scale of it all. I honestly feel like tossing half of my stuff out the window. Seeing the old home town was nostalgic. Seeing the new apartment for the first time in person I have to say it is a nice surprise. No, I had not seen it in person before: with today's market for apartments/houses/rooms/etc, beggars can't be choosers -if someone you know says it looks fresh enough you grab it damnit. Lucking out on a nice apartment at this point in life when everything is thin ice just feels odd though, hah! But I'm not complaining. Oh hell no.
Now I am alone again. It feels a big strange too, having gotten used to sharing a flat with a friend&classmate and her cat. I will miss both but, I suppose, if nothing else... the consolation prize will be that my dark furniture and clothes will stay dark haha~ (white hairy cat is.. hairy)
The coming week promises more stuff to do; to fix the last bits of chaos -including paying bills aouch and try to adjust to a new and slow poor person's Internet (0.25Mbit lol ;.;/). I need new vitamins to battle the sour Spring season and the regular bad brain paint. I need money hahaha I am so ridiculously broke it's crushing. I will get back to work on commissions (new commissions are currently on hold as i work through the current queue) asap of course but also try and take a break and draw something and work on a personal project as well.
Thanks everyone for the comments and support!~
